Korea based, world’s second largest TV maker, LG has announced that it is adding voice recognition support to its massively anticipated Magic Remote TV control. The Magic Remote was already made available to users through a number of major markets by the company. The remote has already been subject to some rather positive reviews from both experts, as well as users - particularly for its ability to operate like a Nintendo Wii controller. The device however, was not equipped with voice control capabilities previously. The Magic Remote TV control may play a crucial role for company’s growth, as with this offering LG managed to go one step ahead of Apple, who is also planning to dish out its own Siri powered TV in the still-emerging smart TV market.
